Well, I think I am going to go ahead and enter another contest. Luckily, in this case it’s just enter and forget about it for about two months.
I’ve been working on my medical revisions. This has been a difficult project. While I agree that the revisions need to be made, I feel like I’m losing some zing from the story as I rewrite it, and I’m not even sure why I feel that way. I’m hoping it’s just my current mindset, not the actuality of the matter. My two readers should be taking a glance at the first three chapters by this weekend so I am eagerly awaiting their feedback.
The weather has been turning towards pretty, so I am trying to get myself away from the computer and get the baby some fresh air now and again. It’s been harder for me than it should be, but I keep always thinking I could be working on a writing project. Or that I should be catching up on all the housework I’ve neglected.
It really is amazing how there is just never enough time.
