January

I currently have two partial submissions out in the slush… both which I should hear back from by the end of January.

I have started applying to jobs in a field I have always wanted to get into, but never thought I could because of my location and then because I waited too long.

Even if all of this is met with rejection and January becomes a long, cold, bitter month, I have begun to put myself out there in ways I have been afraid to before.  I’m excited about that, and excited to start the new year knowing that I have become a different person than I was last January.
