April is going to be a crazy month. First of all, my personal life is always a little crazy in April, but will be doubly so this year. My anniversary is coming up, my birthday and Easter are on the same day, my sister-in-law is getting married at the end of the month, and somehow a few friends convinced me to play volleyball once a week. (I really don’t know what happened there…)
Then there’s the fact that I need to find a paying job. Cue stress.
But, what my mind is really all worked up about is the writing stuff. I have four contests I entered that will announce finalists this month (two already announced, and I’m 0/2), two submissions I should hear back on, and I really want to finish my current WIP by April 30th. I’d also like to submit another novel or two this month, depending on what I hear back from my current submissions.
April always zooms by for me, and it’s always been one of my favorite months. Spring is my favorite season and April to me is spring (and my birthday, of course). I’m hoping that means some good news will land on my doorstep in the next few weeks!
