I have a little submission tracker thing on my itouch. I mainly use it for a quick mathematical tally of how many days I’ve been waiting. I glance at it occasionally to see if I should be hearing back on any subs soon. You know, so I can torture myself every time my email dings.

Well, I happened to look yesterday and noticed my medical partial was  at 299 days waiting time. So, today is the happy 300th day since I sent in my partial (I have emailed twice to ask for an update, always getting a lovely email back apologizing for my wait and saying the email will be forwarded to the editor. Politeness makes the wait a little easier, I’d say).

I’m sure 300 is lucky and means I’ll get a response today, right? 😉
