One of the things I’ve been trying to do lately is learn more about the business side of publishing from author’s who are not shy about telling it like it is. Though I have not read any of her books, I stumbled across Courtney Milan’s blog where she discusses literary agencies opening their own publishing arms.
This gave me a lot to think about. If you go back through her posts you’ll find other honest, factual breakdowns of other things happening in publishing.
Obviously, I’m not published yet, but I want to know what’s going on when I do get to that point. Blogs like this really help spell it out to someone like me who has very little business savvy but would like to obtain some.
