I haven’t been a very good writer over the past month. Or housekeeper or normal functioning human being. In fact, I’ve barely left my couch. Luckily, I have a really good reason for this:
Baby Helm #2 is on his or her way! I am due in March, and at some point am going to have to stop calling Baby #1 “baby”. Especially since he’s almost two!

Awe! It looks like a baby. Usually I have no idea what I’m looking at with an ultrasound.

Our ultrasound tech was like “sorry I didn’t get a good picture.” I looked at her like she was crazy. If I can make out a baby, I’m happy!
It’s probably helpful that this is MODERN technology. Ten years ago when I was having my last round of ultrasounds they were certainly not as clear as this. So if this is a “bad picture” then I would probably be floored by a good one. 🙂
