Between edits descending, the Cardinals making it to the NLCS, pregnancy, a child who has decided his nap only needs to be an hour, and a husband who is working almost every day this entire month, chaos has kind of descended on my life.
As I sit here and type my computer is surrounded by:
-dirty dishes
-3 legal pads with varying editing notes, to do lists, etc
-8 post-it notes with shopping lists/to do lists/editing notes
-a box of tissues, a paper shredder, a bag of Nutter Butters, a box of baking soda (I don’t know why), my husband’s pay stubs, a pregnancy book, camera/itouch/ipod cords, a comb, pamphlets from the Smokies, a newsletter on homebuilt airplanes from my Grandpa, a wedding invitation, scotch tape, an Alanis Morisette CD, a cookbook.
I could go on, but the list is getting ridiculous. I have yet to figure out how to be a person who can keep her house clean.
