While most of the post I’m going to link to today is about stuff I know next to nothing about, I loved the overall message of this post by Super Librarian Wendy. I’m always amazed at people who get worked up about bloggers, worked up enough to send them hate email. I’ve always been of the mindset that if you don’t like something on the internet… you don’t have to read it. I don’t eat peas because they are gross, but if you eat peas do you think I am going to yell at you? (Well, I might if I have to smell them…)
Point being, as Wendy so wonderfully says: “I know it’s easy to forget sometimes, what with the fact that trolls exist, but you know what? We’re grown-ups people. Really, truly – we are. And we all have our own minds. Own yours.”
