We had our first, albeit very light, snow of the winter this week. This time of year, I’m actively rooting for snow (as long as I don’t have to leave my house). One of my favorite Christmas songs is “White Christmas.” I just love the way the world looks under a blanket of white.
There’s more snow predicted for tomorrow, and I’m probably one of the few adults crossing my fingers I wake up to a world of white. (Actually, many teachers probably will share this fantasy with me).
We’ve had a mild fall, and it really just got chilly last week. My WIP is set in Dec-Feb, so I’m happy this change is lining up nicely with the setting in my head.
Now, once February rolls around, I’ll be more than happy to say goodbye to snow and see some warmer days.
