My house is a mess.
There are at least 8 loads of dirty laundry, 5 loads of clean laundry that needs to be folded and put away.
The clock in the living room has been on the wrong time since Christmas.
Son’s nose is running again.
Nothing has been done to prepare for Baby #2, due to arrive in exactly 2 months.
I could go on and on about all the things that are in a state of disaster around here. That’s kind of our usual standard of living, but I’ll admit the prospect of another kid’s stuff adding to all this has me twitching a little bit in anxiety. I’ll also admit it’s hell on my writing.
I’ve been working on the first half of the same WIP for the past 2.5 months. And now my self imposed deadline is creeping closer and closer, and my to do list hasn’t gotten any shorter. And we have yet to eradicate this lingering cold both me and my son have.
In short, January continues to bury me in its clutter and Kleenex. Hoping I can dig out by February!
