We’ve had a few things happening at Nicole Helm headquarters. And by we I mean…me. 🙂
First up, I got the cover for my October Superromance– Too Friendly to Date. This is the second book in my Bluff City series (can stand alone), but you do meet this couple in Too Close to Resist (Jacob and Leah).
I’m so happy Harlequin chose an outdoor winter scene for the cover, because it’s one of my favorite scenes in the book. And here’s the blurb:
One little white lie…one big explanation!
Okay, pretending her sexy boss is her boyfriend is more like a huge white lie. But electrician Leah Santino will take the risk. If her parents think she has someone, they won’t go back to smothering her, and they can all be a family again.
Problem is, Jacob McKnight isn’t just her boss—he’s her friend. And faking a relationship when the Santinos come to visit means those sparks she’s always tried to ignore are hotter than ever. This thing between them is starting to feel real, but Leah has a very good reason to stay independent. Unless that’s one lie that’s outlived its purpose…
VERY excited for this one! (I know, I almost always say that…but it’s true!)

Also, All I Have has been getting some good buzz. I really liked Mandi at Smexy Books’ review, she pulled parts of some of my favorite scenes.
Want to know about All I Have and it’s follow up All I Am? Sign up for my newsletter! The July edition is going out on Monday and will include excerpts from both.
Have a great weekend!
I know I say this for most of your books, but that cover is super cute! I love that blurb, too. Fake romances are one of my favourite tropes. Will keep my eyes peeled when it comes out in October!
🙂
I hope Second Go, book 3 in your Harrington Airfield series, will be out eventually. I see the series is now listed as “currently on hold”. I loved the first book and am reading book 2 now.
I also really enjoyed the first book in your Farmer’s Market and Antiques in Flight series. I have all of the others you’ve published so far in my TBR pile.
I know the year is not over yet, but I am considering you my author find for 2014.
Oh, thank you! Sincerely, you don’t know how much I appreciate hearing that!
As for Second Go, as soon as I have more information on what’s happening with it, I’ll be sure to share on my website. (The series being on hold was actually for the Antiques in Flight series–but I can see where it looked like it was for Harrington, so I changed how that page looks so as to avoid future confusion!)
