June Goals

Oh, hey, it’s June. Not just June… but a week into June. I’m woefully behind. So behind I don’t even remember what my May goals were. Did I even have May goals? I used to think this time of year was only crazy when I was a teacher. Apparently it’s just always nuts!

So, for June, my goals are going to remain pretty much the same. I want to finish my current WIP by the end of the month, which is totally doable. I want to keep reading a few books a month because I think that’s definitely helping me as a writer. And… that’s pretty much it. I’m trying to keep it simple.

I’ve had some positive things going down this week, but nothing newsworthy quite yet. It’s put me in the frame of mind that this month can be all about writing–not submitting (other than requested materials). And then come July (which will be here in the blink of an eye, I’m sure) I’ll kind of reevaluate.

I like the place I’m in. Finally feeling like I’m moving forward.
