I’ve decided I am going to try to find a critique partner, but I am a little daunted because I want a lot out of a C.P. Someone I genuinely like (who would genuinely like me in return), someone in a similar place in their writing journey as I am, someone whose writing I actually enjoy, someone who can constructively criticize, someone who is reliable, who has their writing at about the same priority level that I do, and most importantly someone I can trust.
I think finding a C.P is a daunting task because it seems like the best C.Ps come from more serendipitous events then skulking around the internet trying to find someone to be a critique partner.
So, I am open to suggestions. How did you find your C.P?
